 Welcome to my world.

Charity-Benefit Birthday Parties

Come, celebrate my birthday with me, but don't bring me a gift! Bring me a donation instead, and I give 100% of the money to an organization that needs it more than I need birthday gifts. For the last 8 years, I have been conducting these parties on my birthday and giving the money to organizations that I volunteer(ed) for or whose work I know personally. Birthdays are excellent opportunities to transform a holiday into an opportunity to give to those less fortunate than ourselves.

North Korea Human Rights Movement

Did you know that North Korean citizens are not allowed to freely travel outside of their own country? However, inside of North Korea, people face poverty and starvation, so many people escape to other countries in search of a better life. Charity-Benefit Dance Classes

Dancing is my passion, and what better way to raise money for a cause you believe in, than dancing your heart out. I have been holding charity-benefit dance classes since 2006 to raise money for causes I believe in and organizations doing good work on behalf of those causes.

Volunteer work in India

It's hot. It's dusty. Cows roam the streets. It takes the meaning of 'crowds' to a whole new level. It also has complex, fascinating history and culture, the most delicious food you've ever eaten, and the most beautiful sights you've ever seen. It's India. It also has a plethora of human rights violations and that's the field that I spent two summers researching and volunteering in. They were two of the most memorable summers of my life, and sent me back for more.
